Matisse is a Brighton-based dream pop artist blending ethereal melodies with introspective lyricism. Half English, half French, he has been immersed in music since childhood. Formerly touring as the frontman of an indie band in his teens, Matisse managed to play with some of his icons from Noel Gallagher's High Flying Birds on Soccer AM to dream pop’s finest JAWS and Swim Deep.

Since embarking on his solo journey, Matisse and his band have had great opportunities to play venues in Portsmouth, London, and even sell out shows in Brighton. His debut single, Zooming, released in July 2024, marks the start of an exciting new chapter, with a string of singles lined up in the coming months. Alongside his own releases, he is also collaborating with other musicians and songwriters, further expanding his sound and creative direction.
